Jump The Fence: The Power of Counterintuitive Thinking

About this Event

**This is a Virtual Event**

Join South Georgian Bay Tourism and other tourism-related business owners from across South Georgian Bay for an inspiring and informative morning presentation from keynote speaker Terry O’Reilly.

Terry will be talking about JUMP THE FENCE: The Power of Counterintuitive Thinking

If you’ve ever marvelled at a brilliant solution, you’ll also marvel at the path that led to the solution.

Join Terry O’Reilly as he explains how different organizations solved thorny problems with counterintuitive thinking. Learn how to look at a problem with fresh eyes, how to re-define the obstacle and when to benefit from going against conventional wisdom. Whether marketing products or trying to attract tourism, the key is to identify artificial boundaries that limit your thinking – and jump the fence.

When out-of-the-box thinking is applied to strategies, marketing problems can be solved, obstacles can be blasted out of the way, and revenues can dramatically improve. All you have to do is ”jump the fence.”

Terry O’Reilly has a lot to say about marketing. His resume spans decades in the advertising industry and includes award-winning work with several Toronto advertising firms, creating campaigns for top brands such as Pepsi, Labatt, Tim Hortons, Volkswagen, and more. He has published two bestselling books: The Age of Persuasion and This I Know, and he hosts the popular radio show, Under the Influence, heard weekly on CBC Radio, Sirius Satellite and WBEX Chicago.

Terry speaks frequently to companies and organizations on the power of marketing. A passionate and humorous presenter, his talks inspire, entertain and provide practical lessons to audience members hoping to find affordable ways to improve their marketing impact.
